Talanoa is a traditional word used in Fiji and across the Pacific to reflect a process of inclusive, participatory and transparent dialogue. The purpose of Talanoa is to share stories, build empathy and to make wise decisions for the collective good.
Our name reflects our confidence that the next wave of productivity improvement lies in collaboration. It's a statement that how we succeed is integral to success.
Jeff Webb
Owner
Jeff was a team lead at Microsoft during the 80s boom. He left to write programming books, relax a bit, and to learn how people interact with software. Later, he got interested in how teams work. That interest led him from writing and consulting to co-founding a successful software business focused on collaboration through SharePoint.
Talanoa Group is the applied knowledge from that experience.
